Xiamen Symphony
Soundscape
Collage of sounds of the legendary Chinese treaty port Xiamen. I nostalgically reminsce about my two years there in my new blog entry.

Raw electonic piece “Aggregate” for a projection showcase by dandelion & burdock at the New York festival of lights.
Highly contrapunctual yet very introverted piece of epic dimensions, that demands perfect intonation and techinque from its performers.
Music to a videocompilation by Andreas Giesecke.
A grotesque story about a girl that learns to stop saying „nay“ the hard way, written in the key of East-German children‘s records.

The music for the video is a compilation of small pieces that were originally commissioned by a museum in Saudi Arabia, in which I first dealt with oud, qanun and maqams.
A very special Frankonian piece commissioned by the Bavarian broadcast service for its series "Young Philharmonics".
On behalf of the artist Marie-Eve Levasseur, I'm creating a polyphonic vocal piece for her installation of her virtual work, which explores the female role in brewing processes.
